The Importance of Coolant in Your Backup Generator

The end of Summer is here! Rising temps and severe weather conditions these past few months means it is more important than ever to top off the coolant tank in your backup generator. In fact, keeping coolant at optimal levels is important not only during the summer months, but all year round.

Routine coolant checks keep your equipment safe in times of extreme heat and avoid overheating during regular use. Coolant can become less effective during the warm weather months when you need it most. Keep in mind that batteries also age, and connectors can become loose or corrode. Why risk it? With a quick run through our summer maintenance checklist, you can make sure you’re on top of everything you need.
