Our Nation depends on you, and you can depend on PowerSecure to ensure that your mission, military and civilian staff, and surrounding community are always ready, especially in the face of power disruption.
PowerSecure has supported the Department of Defense and Civilian Agencies to continue their missions with energy resilience and efficiency for the past 20+ years. We’ve supported every branch of the military as well as the Veteran’s Administration, General Services Administration, Federal Bureau of Prisons, and other agencies throughout the United States.
As a market leader, we support our customers’ sustainability and resiliency targets through extensive distributed infrastructure and microgrid capabilities.
We’re proud that our generators are assembled in Durham, NC and meet the requirements of the Buy American Act. Our in-depth understanding of Federal projects and their economic needs has earned us more than $900 million in design-build energy resiliency and efficiency projects throughout our tenured history. With our end-to-end expertise of:
You are provided with the right planning, installation and maintenance services for your energy projects today and into the future.
Installation resiliency has become a priority for the Department of Defense, its service branches (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines), and civilian agencies with the need for preparedness in the face of natural and man-made disasters. What started with the requirement for all DoD installations to have an Installation Energy Plan (IEP) has further evolved into ensuring their critical missions can continue through these disasters. While the services and agencies have each developed their own approach to solving gaps in resiliency and readiness, one common theme is the need for microgrids to provide backup power to critical systems. This means their installation can continue to function during the disaster and in many cases, support the local community.
PowerSecure’s advanced microgrids bring redundant power to ensure your facility remains operational full-time, withstanding outages or any other event of similar magnitude, while meeting the highest level of clean air regulation. Microgrids can also help an agency achieve their decarbonization goals. Our PowerBlock generation systems are modular by design and fully equipped to transition to renewable fuels with no modification to existing equipment. In addition, our shorter than market lead times get projects in the ground and operating faster.
Securing funding for projects is never an easy task. PowerSecure’s distributed energy systems can also provide you with multiple value streams through demand forecasting, system optimization and resource management utilizing our proprietary PowerControl® 24/7/365 monitoring system. The high return on investment of our distributed energy solutions creates opportunities for using these value streams to support innovative and proactive energy projects.
PowerSecure can be involved in a variety of contracting mechanisms to complete your projects, including but not limited to, a Utility Privatization Contract (UPC), Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC), Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC), and Areawide Contract (AWC).
We are continually solving for your evolving relationship with energy. As our Nation advances to meet shifting priorities in energy, carbon reduction, and resiliency, PowerSecure will be there to support you. Your mission, people, and surrounding community are our priority and we’ll help you make sure they all carry on.
